There’s nothing like a trip to London to remind you of home. Our kids jumped with joy when we told them our Thanksgiving Break trip (2011) would be to London, England–home to Westminster Abbey, Tower of London, Jack the Ripper and, OH! English language.For 6 days we reveled in the English language. Street signs, metro stops, tour guides…non-stop language we could “almost” understand. A highlight of our time was the church service at Westminster Cathedral for the first Sunday of Advent. As Will so deliciously phrased it, “It’s just like Harry Potter in here!”
