It’s no secret we love to travel and Washington DC makes our short list for best places to go in the US. Maybe it’s the overwhelming sense of power we get when we step onto the Mall or perhaps it’s just the fact that so much to do is absolutely free! Whatever the reason, DC is an enjoyable destination with clearly marked streets in grid-like fashion, clean and affordable public transportation, plenty of trendy neighborhoods and lots of American history.
