Our lasting impressions of Milan…

CLEAN  It is clean, super clean in fact. Even the metro and sotopassiagios smell fresh.

IMPORTANT  It’s very busy and important. The people move at a quick clip and there are few gypsies on the streets trying to hawk goods

STRIKING The Milan Cathedral with its gleaming white towers and statues dotting the roofline is spectacular, especially in the sunshine.

MAKES ONE FEEL SMALL starting with the Milan train station, which which designed large and oversized to give the impression that big brother is watching your every move.
