Our favorite singer and dancer put his unique spin on stage as Link Larkin in Hairspray, the 2019 Muir Musical performance at UC San Diego. Will and the huge cast has been hard at work since January, spending long hours learning choreography and hitting their lines. It all came together for 6 performances in early April and played to several sell-out crowds at Mandeville Auditorium. We had the opportunity to see the show on opening night and closing night and found ourselves singing and clapping along. Will easily stepped into the role of Link Larkin, love interest of Tracey Turnblad, and crooned for the audience with “It Takes Two”–fancy guitar and hair curl completing his leading guy look.
